    Default Roast Slow Cooker Recipe

I found this on a frugal recipe site, tried it yesterday, and YUM!
It's like Arby's Roast beef. Once it was done, and I cut off a small piece, I bit in and it was the juiciest roast I've ever eaten! I'll be making this more often!

    Beef Au Jus

    3 - 4 lb beef roast
1 and a half packet dry onion soup

    1. Brown roast on stove.
    2. Put roast in slow cooker.
    3. Pour onion packets on top.
    4. Pour enough water in to cover roast.
    5. Cook low for 8 hours or High for 4.
    6. Shred with forks.
Serve with bread, cheese, and chips. Roast, buns and cheese can be frozen.

I used about 1 lb roast and the same amount of everything else. It was delicious!

Thanks, I have a roast thawing in the fridge right now. I'm not sure if I have the french onion mix though. Do you think that a can of french onion soup will work ?
