    Default Pulled pork sanwiches

I tried something new yesterday: 4 lb boneless pork shoulder (1.49/lb on sale) in the crock pot all day, then shredded it and added homemade bbq sauce and served it on homemade whole wheat buns. Yum! It took a bit of time (not labor-intensive, just needing to be home most of the day), but made at least two dinners for the 5 of us. Half of the meat and buns went in the freezer for later. *\o/*

Oh Yum! Watched a program on food network this weekend while at DBF's house. It was all about BBQ places and one did this. It looked so delicious!

Yum! We try not to eat beef or pork, but I like to use the leftover meat from a whole roast chicken. Just throw it in the crockpot with some chicken stock and bbq sauce all day, delicious!
