Use up extra cereal

Sometimes I end up with a lot of extra cereal after great deals at the grocery store. (Like this week getting paid $1.30 to buy 7 boxes!) This is the recipe I use to use up the cereal. It can be made with any type of "flaked" cereal, but to be really healthy fiber cereals are the best. I also love to use the Special K Yogurt and Fruit cereal in them - it's delicious!

I would experiment with mixing them together with nuts, raisins, pretzels, etc., and make a form of "Chex Mix". Sweetened cereals just mix with salty or different texture to give the mouth a treat. Unsweetened can be baked with Worcestershire Sauce and or other seasonings to give them more of a snack flavoring. Experiment with whatever is on hand and enjoy.

We often have small amounts left at the bottom of the box. I've taught DS to mix 2 kinds and have a bowl that way.
