I'm a born Hooseir and a transplant in eastern Ohio, Carroll County. I love the foothills, I've been to the Mid America racetrack in Mansfield and would love to go back to see a race. We were there several years ago for the motorcycle fleets. My DH delivers in Wooster, and Pittsburgh. DH also goes to Chillicothe for the bike rally. I've never been and don't know that I care to. I'm sure I'd have fun but I couldn't breath in all the dust.

Me too ,Winkie. I used to live where I traveled on 314 a lot. The traffic on race weekends was terrible. But the races generate a lot of money for Mansfield and the surrounding areas.

Winkie, 314 north or south?I I actually lived on 314 south for 5 years in the 70's. Know where Johnsville is? About 2 miles from there. Just think, we've probably seen each other in Meijer or Walmart or Kohl's, my favorite shopping place.

314 south of 309. I go through Johnsville every day on my way to work. In the 70's I lived in Long Island, NY. Moved back to Ohio in the 80's. Have been in present house 7 years. Finally got out in the country on 13 1/2 acres & we are here to stay!!

But yes, we very well could have been standing in line behind each other, adding up our coupons!

I live near Dubois, about an hour and a half north of Pittsburgh...and I have a cousin in Mansfied, OH.

That's neat, pdfc. I am originally from Kittanning, Pa. Do you know where that is? Most of my family still lives there.

Yep, we drive past the Kittanning exit on the way to Pittsburgh. I used to live in Ellwood City.
