    Default Update On The Helpful Grocery Idea....

    I talked to the grocery manager at HEB & He said that he could only order from what was left in the HEB warehouse & I managed to get an order in - 15 cases of vegetables. All they had left were green beans, peas & corn - I ordered 5 cases each. Here's the surprise blessing - HEB had marked this brand to .22 cents a can instead of .39 cents - so I am getting 15 cases of veggies for slightly over $79!!! This will last us awhile. The sad thing is - is that once they run out of that brand in the warehouse - that's it.

    That is a really good deal on veggies and it shows that the squeaky wheel does get the grease. Just think, if you hadn't complained you would never have saved all the money you saved! Great job!

    ummmm....nope- I wish I had. lol I will probably store it in the garage or in various places in the house.I know it won't be around forever - we have 10 children
