Whew! Time is flying by!! My Dh decided we were going to take a little "excursion" down to Kenai, AK (about a 3.5 hour drive south of us) to visit friends and our 3 Goddaughters. I haven't had a second to myself until now!! It's been unpack, clean, clean, pack, clean, drive, visit there, drive, clean, unpack, clean... I'm tired!!! I didn't even switch the studded tires off my car until last night!!! It's the middle of May for goodness sakes!

The trip to Oklahoma was SUCH a great time!! And 80 there was SO nice...it's about 40 here today...we had to turn the furnace back on last night...it was in the 50's INSIDE... OH! While I was down there I went to CVS!! So, now I know what ya'll are talkin' about! And I went to 3 different dollar stores. Dollar Tree is my fav!!

We went on all sorts of sight-seeing drives, I saw Texas Longhorns, too... I got to visit with loads of family and friends...we ate out a LOT! Let's just say this was NOT frugal...but, boy did I NEED it!! I'm a much happier person (although a nap would be good right about now). All refreshed and ready for classes to start next weekMonday! I picked up mine and Dh's text books today...summer semester, here we come!

Our trip to Kenai was really fun, too! Our Goddaughters are growing like WEEDS!!! The littlest one will be a year old next month and is just about to be walkin' up a storm!! It was so good to see them all! Sure wish they were back here in town...looks like he'll be trying to transfer back in 1-2 years...

Ok...that's my story. I'm trying to catch up on all the happenings here at FV before school starts and I'm totally swamped! Good to "see" you all again!!
