I went to work, taught all day, numbered 2200 graduation tickets by hand, came home and played outside with the kids for hours. We "fished" in the stream, played badminton, basketball, and just generally hung out outside.

I puttered around, was a little lazy, did some surfing and then worked out, had lunch w/Gripey, showered, got ready, did Dad's bank statement, check book and paid a couple of his bills, cooked a roast and sweet potatoes and green beans for dinner. Dad came over for dinner and now we're just watching tv, surfing............

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

Took DD to get her driving permit. She passed!!!
Ran by the bank and then took DD to her class. It was her first day back since her surgery. She was nervous about how different she looked, but was ready to see her friends.
The Dell repairman came by and replaced the screen on one of the laptops.
DS had a baseball game that lsted until 10:00. He got to pitch and had three great hits.
Now everyone has gone to bed and I am not far behind.

    Oh man........
Primed the front door and outside window frames. I was hurrying as I had to leave early for a retirement party for a friend. But I thought I could finish the priming. Then got a call that the realtor was going to bring a prospective buyer by either today or tomorrow. So after I primed (no way did I have time to do the painting), I cleaned the bathrooms, cleaned me, and off I went to the retirement party. Then I fought my way thru traffic to get to my evening class that I taught. That class lasted 4 1/2 hours. Then home to do some serious cleaning. Cleaned house until 1 AM. Tried to sleep, but every bone in the body was aching. Got up at 6 am and resumed cleaning today. I need a nap!

Yesterday was a busy one! Up at 6:00 to finish baking cinnamon rolls for teacher appreciation week. DS was up sick all night so was extra tired for a Monday! Woke kids up, packed lunches, and put them on the bus. Then it's off to dance/tumbling class for DD2. After that I headed to the courthouse to try and figure out transferring the title on our "new to us" car. Quick lunch, then off to pick up DS from kindergarten. Cleaned up the house a bit in the afternoon and worked on shopping list. Quick supper for kids, then it's off to t-ball practice for DS and off to soccer practice for DD2. UGH. Went shopping quick after soccer practice to get in on some good deals. After reading with the kids for 30 minutes, I do believe I literally passed out...

    Yesterday wore me out:
*Got up, showered, got all 4 kids ready, took oldest two to school
*Fed animals, did dishes, made tea, made lemonade, made formula for the day, got the trash gathered up and taken out
*Did two loads of laundry (one smaller one and one large one)
    *Washed the dogs' beds
    *Vacuumed
*Dusted the whole house (we have pollen everywhere from having windows open during the day)
*Mopped all the floors (and of course it is raining today)
*Picked up the kids from school
*Fixed dinner (spaghetti), cleaned up, dh and I bathed and dressed youngest three for bed
*Got all of 'em to bed
*Read for a while and got to sleep around 10:30

    Today I have already:
*Did all the morning stuff (kids to school, dishes, etc)
*Scrubbed down the kitchen table with cleaner and water (yuck!)
*Cleaned the oven (we don't have a self-cleaning one)
    *Cleaned the kitchen
*Washed, dried and put away towels

    I still have to:
    *Clean the bathrooms
    *Run the vacuum real quick
    *Fix lunch
    *Pick up kids from school
*Fix dinner (chicken night), clean up, etc. etc.

No wonder I'm so tired at night, lol
