    Default Stimulus check question

We used turbo tax to do our taxes. We were supposed to get our check this week but my dh said we won't get it until June? Has anyone heard of this? Did anyone who used Turbo Tax gotten theirs yet?

I'm not sure about TurboTax! I was talking to a friend yesterday who was bummed out because they had done their taxes Rapid Refund and just found out that they have to wait longer to get their stimulus check because of that! This was news to me, we filed Rapid Refund as well!

Hopefully someone will come along soon and know something about TurboTax and can help you out on this one!

My bf did his turboxtax and got his refund yesterday. Did you choose direct deposit or a paper check? Paper is what is taking longer since they have to be mailed out.

They go in numerical order by the last two digits of your social security number. I am not sure which number they use for married couples.

I found this schedule on the IRS site
Stimulus Payment Schedule for Tax Returns
Received and Processed by April 15

    Direct Deposit Payments

If the last two digits of your Social Security number are:
Your economic stimulus payment deposit should be sent to your bank account by:

    00 – 20
    May 2

    21 – 75
    May 9

    76 – 99
    May 16

    Paper Check

If the last two digits of your Social Security number are:
Your check should be in the mail by:

    00 – 09
    May 16

    10 – 18
    May 23

    19 – 25
    May 30

    26 – 38
    June 6

    39 – 51
    June 13

    52 – 63
    June 20

    64 – 75
    June 27

    76 – 87
    July 4

We have a deposit pending from the treasury this morning. We used turbo tax.

I've head that if you used turbo tax but used your tax refund to pay for the TT fees, you'll get a check. If you payed upfront with a credit card as we did, you'll get a DD. That's the rumor I heard... I really can't say for certain.

We used Turbo Tax and even though we had to pay in we were asked for our routing # and acct # specifically for the stimulus payment deposit. If you furnished your #s then you should get a direct deposit.

We filed on line with H&R block and had the fees taken out of our return. I was checking on the IRS website the other day and it said that if you filed for rapid return or had your fees taken out of your return then you would be getting a paper check, I think ours is scheduled to come at the end of May sometime!!! That sucks, because I thought that we were going to get it last week, oh well, that's the government for ya!!

Turbo Tax is a computer program to do your own taxes. Not a place like Jackson Hewitt or H&R block.

If you chose to have direct deposit for your tax refund, it should get deposited into your acct. If you chose to have a paper check for your tax refund, the rebate will be sent the same way.

Remember, the IRS does not do deposits on Thursdays. If it's not there by this morning, it will probably be there by tomorrow (the next deposit day).

It's true and this is why ours won't come until June. I was really hoping to get it sooner, sigh. We paid our fees out of our tax refund and not the cc.

    Ah yes, that explains it.
We paid the fees w/ our debit card.
