on line bill pay
This is odd......
I hate it when they change things on a bill pay sight. It confuses me and makes me worry that something is wrong. I always pay my DirectTV bill on-line. Today I logged in to pay it and something looked different about the page but I can't put my finger on it. Also it just said Welcome Ann, but it always used to stay welcome Ann ( last name ). It said that 43.00 was due but when I looked up the statement it said that 53.00 is due. What about the other 10 bucks? No explanation as to why a 10 dollar discount.
Grrrr, now I guess I will just have to call it in. Anybody else notice anything?

No, I always pay all mine through my bank online pay so I can hit them all at once.
I can understand why you would be leary as well as confused about the amount. The math never lies, budget in INK!
Amount of Free items 2012 $391.33

Debt #2 12/31/12 CC $901.88

That would throw me off, too. I don't like change at all! And I'm a really paranoid person when it comes to money. No harm in calling them to see if the site has been updated or something to make sure everything is cool, ya know?
I pay most of our bills through our bank's online payment system like Cricketlegs.

I keep a folder in my fav's with all my accounts in it so I don't need to type the addy in and maybe make a mistake or follow someone elses link & end up at some bogus site. I just click and know I'm at the right place because it's the link I've been using all along. Works for me.

Oh, keep an eye open in your email, often times the company will warn you ahead of time that a change is coming.~*Darlene*~

Hmm, that would make me wonder too! I would definitely call in and see if they did just update their site. It's better to be safe than sorry!
This kind of happened to us with our Gas bill. I ended up just paying it over the phone this last month because I wasn't too sure and neither was the person I spoke with on the phone!!

Do you log in through an e-mail? I never log into my accounts via an e-mail link since it poses a risk. I'd call the company & see if they have updated their site, usually when a company updates their site they send you an e-mail telling you to expect changes.

Pay all of our bills online through our bank.
" May we never let the things we can’t have or don’t have or shouldn’t have spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness, let us not forget it. One of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have."
