    Question Cell Phone Service

I am thinking of switching cell phone providers to AT&T. I wanted to ask you guys first to see if anyone has experience with them (good or bad).

    Thanks for the feedback.

We've had AT&T for five years, since they used to be Cingular. Dh even worked for them a couple years back.

We love them. The rollover mins are awesome, free mobile to mobile to ALL AT&T cell customers, etc. We haven't had a bit of trouble with them. And their customer service has been good too.

We have been with them for years (well, were with Cingular, then they became AT & T). I know we have had service with them since at least 2002.

Our cell phones are paid for by DMIL as a gift to us so I have never had to deal with the billing, customer service or anything like that.

I can say that the cell service is fine. We never have dropped calls, almost always can get a signal, etc... We have no complaints or problems with them whatsoever.

We've had it for a couple of years now since leaving Nextel and we have had no problems at all. Now Nextel was a whole different story...

i ve had att & t when it was Att & t a long time ago..LOL ive had it 10 years..
i like the service i like the call center customer care but the corporate stores SUCK!! majorly..i have had many problems with them...they dont want to help you..i went through several problems where customer call center said we could get this or that for free or they would credit out accounts (mainly on renewals) and they could mail it or we could go get it at the store.. the store will NOT honor the call centers message, why? because they make commission off of the sales and thats why people avoid them..direct quote from a call center rep.

    so i love the service
    love the reception
    love the phones
    monthly plans arent bad
    great call center customer service

    dont like the stores

I have AT&T, but have been disappointed due to the poor reception where I live. I can't really use the phone from my house, and live in a larger metropolitan area, so I see no excuse for this. My dh has Sprint and gets a perfectly good signal from home. We've tried fixing it through AT&T customer service, and they just say "sorry, there was no guarantee you could get a signal from your home". So, just be aware that the fine print of your contract does not guarantee service from your home. This may just be a local problem.

Anywhere but home, it works just fine. I'm counting down the days to the end of my contract though.

I've been with ATT since it was Cingular....perhaps ten years now. I wouldn't use anyone else. Great coverage area, rollover minutes, free long-distance, never had a roaming charge.

I also have their roadside assistance plan ($2.99 a month) and it is great too. The only time I've had to use it (so far) the tow-truck arrived within 20 minutes of my placing the call.

We, too, have been with AT&T since it was Cingular. No complaints at all here on reception or cost. CS sometimes leaves a bit to be desired.

When we first ordered our phones, they really screwed up the order big time and it took weeks to get everything sorted out. But that was when it was Cingular.

We switched from Verizon to AT&T a few months ago and have been very happy. We get better reception, like the cost better...all around, a good switch for us.

We have them too. I have only found 1 place that we don't get reception and that is in the woods of Northern Michigan. We have been in the Caribbean and had no problems with reception there either. I would recommend them too.

We went with AT&T with our cell phones because we felt they had the best mobile to mobile package. With 3 phones on our plan, free mobile to mobile more than pays for itself. My DD15 has also managed to make good use of free nights and weekends, she has logged almost 1000 minutes and hasn't had her phone for a whole month yet. We are happy with the service and coverage.

I've had cingular since right around when they came out. DH always had AT&T. When we got married, we switched to Sprint - BIG MISTAKE! We switched back to cingular and then they became AT&T. We like them....only had one small problem with DH's data plan (he needs one for work). The guy at the store told us wrong information so we got hit with one high bill. I called the customer service department - they explained everything to me, we adjusted our account and haven't had a problem since....
