Thank you for the update. It's always nice to know what she's doing...still being thrifty...but really could she do anything else? heck no...it wouldn't be "normal"...

It is interesting to see what she's up to . . . and I have searched all over the web and never seen a picture of her. It's nice to put a face to all the good advice she's given our family.

Thanks for the link. It was interesting to see that she still practices what she preaches.

great read - makes sense to me. Here, people do potluck receptions more than you might expect - having receptions at the beach is also a biggie.

Have you looked online? You can get her books used and then usually pay $4 for shipping. Addall.com, amazon.com, fetchbook.com, dealoz.com. These sites will check out several sites and then tell you the cheapest place to buy. I've done this several times and only had 1 problem, 1 time.

Just looked half.com has the complete tightwad gazette, (all 3 books in one) for $12.99 including shipping.

This might have been posted already. I'm going to throw it up here in case it hasn't

I love her book, the complete TG. I still read it to get inspiration.

I wish I could just spend a few days with her, following her around to see what she does!
I think you can get an idea of that by reading her books. I saw her on talk shows when her books first came out.

Thanks. I used to get her newsletter. I get my books out every now and then for a refresher or a recipe.
