Woo Hoo! Great freebie find!
Ok, I just had to share this! Dh came home from work yesterday with flat screen computer monitor! Ours is huge and we have it on a tiny desk, so it takes up most of the desk. We have been talking about buying a flat screen, but just haven't wanted to spend the money, since our monitor is still working fine.
DH is a garbage man, so normally he is not a garbage picker because A) there is just too much cool stuff and he couldn't fit it in the truck and B) it's not exactly against the rules, but it's frowned upon for the garbage men to pick through the garbage before putting it in the truck becuase it is unprofessional. But he couldn't resist this one! He said, he first saw the box for a new monitor, then he saw the old monitor lying there. He thinks they upgraded to a bigger one, so he grabbed the old one! We don't have a power cord for it yet, but our neighbor, who is a computer whiz, plugged it in at his house and said that it looks totally fine and should work! Score!
