Default What have you accomplished today?

I had a very productive day, and just wanted to share...

    Today I:
*washed/dried/folded/put away 2 loads of laundry
    *loaded and started my dishwasher
*set my auto-oven to bake lasagna, so it'll be ready when I walk in
*chose paint colors for my big paint project Memorial Day Weekend
*counseled DD14 about friends, boys, modesty...

    That was before 8 am...

    At school I:
*taught 7 class periods of history to 8th graders
    *mentored novice teacher
    *updated class webpage--one week left!
    *emailed parents on children's progress

Maybe it's not as impressive as some of your lists, but there are days when I seem to spin my wheels!!!

Anyone who spends all day with children, especially teachers are "impressive" to me!

    Great job!

I feel like I didn't get much done today, except for procrastinating. And here I am at 3am with a deadline in six hours, procrastinating by reporting my procrastination!

Got my house cleaned early this am and then went next door to help my neighbor. Her husband died this past January and they are having the committal service tomorrow. So I went with her to pick up some food and do some things around her house. She took me out to lunch too. She is just the sweetest and it's so nice to be able to help her out. We had lunch in a local greenhouse. It was so nice just eating & chatting amidst all those flowers.

So far today I have stripped the bed and will wash linens when I get home. Showered, dressed, and worked (still at work). Deposited my paycheck. Eaten lunch. Blogged. Read other blogs. Now I'm just waiting to get off work so I can paint my last kitchen chair.

I did some laundry and spent the day cleaning. I also baked a cake for tomorrow for DDs 15th birthday.
I have also been knitting mittens and crafting with hama beads.
