Do you love your phone?

We need to get new phones for the house, and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations? I have a bit of a hearing problem, so I'm particularly looking for something with good sound, but won't break the bank.

We've had two VTechs for years, one of those sets with a base station and two hand sets. They lasted awhile, but they're both broken now (we're total butterfingers, our things are prone to being dropped a lot.)

I'm one of those people that take forever to make a decision, and we've been forwarding calls to my cell for months, which is a pita. I just don't want to waste my money on something I end up not being able to hear on. I'm just hoping someone could clue me in on what's best for someone half deaf heh.

We have had this system now for about 2 years or so. Works great and we are out in the boonies! Got it in the clearance bin at Staples for approx. $40.

I like my phone right now. It's a 'don't call us, we'll call you' system.

We are WAY up here in the woods in our cabin with NO phone. Best phone system we've had. LOL!

We have a GE model #27851-GE1-A and it is horrible. Definitely NOT for the hearing impaired. My ds#2 is hearing impaired and doesn't like this phone. My hearing is fine, but I can never hear my messages.
