    Default Thank You Frugal Village

So, I'm still kinda newbish, and I was reading through some other newbie posts and how they feel about starting out and the help of these forums, and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone, this is such a fanstastic place.

I kind of see my reason for being here as part of a recovery, and total life change. I was addicted to a lifestyle that was killing our chances for true prosperity and hindering our happiness. Here I have found suggestions, support, community and good conversation, and just wanted to take a moment to tell you all how much I am truly truly thankful

I think you summed up this place very nicely! And kudos to you for wanting to change your lifestyle for the better!

    Nice post, Jane.

I've only been here since last July, and I was going through the same emptiness from addiction to that lifestyle.

I feel the same way about FV.

This place is my home away from home. I know this is going to sound corny, and I hope there are some people who can relate to this. After a long week at work and feeling "weird" for my frugal choices and ideas, all I want to do is hang out with my FV Friends and feel encouraged by all the like minded souls on here. I know it's corny, but this place got me through one of my most difficult financial years last year and I feel this group plays a key role in keeping me on my frugal path .

I feel the exact same way! I can come home from my long day teaching school, and see what everyone has been doing.

    Glad you're here!

    Janelane,
    Welcome!!
I couldnt have said it better myself. The people here are wonderful. My niece was diagnosed with meningitis last week and when I needed help for my sister, the people here gave to her in every way you can think of. There is only one word for the people here.....AWESOME!
