Our Mattress Purchase..RANT RANT RANT RANT

A little background.... back in March, we purchased 2 mattresses for the younger boys - 1 twin & 1 full size. Anyway, we have conducted business with this company over the years & were very happy with them. Notice that I said "WERE".
Anyway, in March, the twin size mattress was $99 & very good quality...fast-forward to yesterday's purchase.
It is now May - 2 months later. The company has moved to a new location. We needed 2 more twin mattresses & decided to buy from them again since they have the best prices in our area. So we get there, look around & we are unable to find the same brand of mattress that we had bought before - they were not out for display - no advertisement tags - nothing. So we ask the sales person if they still carried that particular mattress & she said she would check...& yes, they did have them -in the back room. Okay- STRIKE 1 !- funny they had the more EXPENSIVE mattresses out for customers to see. Here's what else...since they had moved to a new location(my guess)...the price for 1 twin mattress went from $99 to $139!!! -STRIKE 2!...and we needed 2 matresses.GGGRRR I had saved back $300 just for this purchase & I was hoping to have a little left over to roll into our "house fixing-up fund". Mind you that these prices are still better than the other store's but why do they feel they have to resort to misleading tactics?? - STRIKE 3! If we had not asked about the other brand, we would have paid the higher price.
anyhow, the salesperson rings up the total & we got a "little break" on the taxes b/c since moving into the new building,their computers haven't been programmed properly for sales taxes. so WHOOP TI DOOOOO! Out of $300, I got .80 cents back after paying for 2 mattresses.
I know that things are going up, but for cryin' out loud....$40 increase in 2 months for 1 stinkin' mattress??? STOOOOPID!!!GGGRRR.
