Hi, I'm Dot
How did you hear about frugal village? I found it through a search for frugal living.
What interests you here? Seeing how other people live a frugal life and gleaning all I can.
What will you contribute? I will share my own frugal experiences.
Do you know any other members here? No, I don't think I know anyone here.
How many kids? 2 Ages? 20 and 12
Tell us about yourself. I grew up in a very frugal household...and it stuck. I've never been able to get very far from my roots. Sometimes I stray, but I always come back. I am married with 2 sons. We've homeschooled for most of our sons' lives. Our oldest is going to be a junior in college next fall. Our youngest will be in 8th grade in the fall. We are a very busy family....it takes a lot to juggle everything.
Do you own any pets? We have a dog....a 7 year old boston terrier.
Occupation? I am a part time clerk at a Hallmark store...and a full time mom.
Married or single? Married to my best friend.
Interests and hobbies? I love to find a bargain and make a penny stretch. I also love to help others and spend a lot of time keeping our church food pantry going. And, of course, I like to read and surf the internet.

Hi Dot,
Welcome to Frugal Village!
" May we never let the things we can’t have or don’t have or shouldn’t have spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness, let us not forget it. One of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have."
