Those poor folks. I'm sure Vanderbilt did everything they could do. It's a wonderful hospital - my DS was born and lived the first month of his life there.

Praying for God's peace for the Chapman family. I don't know how folks make it through stuff like this without the Lord's grace.

I just cried and cried. (serious crying, like tears rolling down my face kind of crying) I held my own daughter that was adopted from China (Maria was adopted from China as well).....somehow that makes it more real. I don't think that I wlll EVER be able to listen to the song "Cinderella" again without crying. (the song was written about her and their other young daughters)

Traci~ I agree... this is such a tragic story and I'm still in shock.

That song "Cinderella" ranks right up there "Butterfly Kisses"...

I can't stop crying. We take so much for granted....please take the time to hug your children.....tell them every day what a blessing they are to you.....make sure that they know that as their Heavenly Father loves them unconditionally -so do you....that nothing that they could ever do or say could cause you not to love them....be sure to remind them that they are loved & cherished everyday. We only have them for a little while.
Steven Curtis has inspired millions through his music - songs that reflect real life and God's grace. As tragic as this is....God will use it for good.
Please lift this family up in prayer - especially for Maria's brother.

I agree. I was listening to 'Magnificent Obession' just a couple of days ago and thinking how that song spoke to me.

I heard that this morning and was saddened. We, my family, went to see him perform a few years ago and of course he had his family with him. He was very family oriented. I love his music. My oldest DS got me hooked on his Christian music years ago.
