Would you go.....
to a high school reunion?
i would really like to go to see some of the people, but others, i could live without ever seeing again!
i went to school in florida. i now live in ohio. not sure if i want to spend the money to go, or if i should just skip it. from what i have heard, most of the people that i was friends with, won't even be there. so that makes me real leary about going.
would you go?

I missed my first one and regretted it. I didn't think I would since I didn't really hang out with a lot of the people I actually went to high school with. Most of my friends were from other nearby schools. I will be going to the next one if I can do it without infringing on money needed for other things.

I went to my 10 year reunion. It was nothing special. If I did not live in the town I would not go. Same with 15, 20, 25 etc year. I did not like high school that much, and if I wanted to remain friends with people in hs I did. LOL

I wouldn't pay to travel to one unless it was with old friends who decided to go as a group so I was assured of a good time. My 10th was a few years ago and I didn't go. I was in driving distance and wouldn't have needed a hotel, but it wasn't worth the $300 ticket price to me.

No, but that's just me. I really didn't have tons of friends in high school and if I wanted to keep in touch with them, I would have!
Have fun if you decide to go!Mom to two crazy boys

I went to my 5 year, but not my 10 year. I am still very good friends with 2 of my high school friends and those are the people who I would've liked to see. One wasn't making the trip from Alaska to Illinois for the reunion and the other I see about once a month becuase we live close to each other.
I don't regret skipping it. We didn't have a great turn out for our 10 year. Maybe about 40 people out of the entire graduating class. I guess nobody was really worried about it!

I've skipped my 10th...I see everyone I want to see that lives close, and those who don't, we stay in touch by Facebook, so it wasn't that huge a deal to me. Plus, it was at Christmas, and I just had too much going on.

Dh and I went to my 20th, we had a ball, all those who had their noses in the air had sudden gotten very friendly, hahaha, and wrinkled!!! My DH was one of the few men with hair, we danced, listened to our music, was great, great for the ego too, believe me no matter how they try and disguise it, we all got twenty years older. If you get the chance GO! And I hope you dance!!!!!!

I went to the first yr reunion and haven't been back since. My girlfriend tried to get me to go the our 25th yr but they wanted $60 per person for appetizers and cash bar. I don't think I could drink that much!!! She said she had a good time but she is the type who enjoys knowing what her friends (past and present) have been up to. I was never in a clique so there wasn't anyone I really wanted to catch up with. I kept in touch with those that meant something to me.

I went to my 10th, 20th & we haven't had one since. Would I go again? Probably not. Same ole clicks I had in school. If I didnt speak to people--they wouldn't have spoken to me. If you want to go...GO.

I have to say yes. I've been to every one we have had. I still live in the same town I grew up in. We just had our 25 year reunion last fall. I enjoy it.

I went to my 10th and 20th (in Houston and we stayed with my parents) but truly I didn't even know or recognize most of the people. I would see their name tag and have to look them up in the yearbook to know who they even were. My closest friends from school were in different grades than I was so I didn't really have any close friends that I graduated with. I can safely say that I will pass on any more reunions as I just don't need to go try and make chit chat with virtual strangers reminiscing. Heck I can barely remember what happened last week and sure can't remember all the things that were happening in '79 when I graduated.

My class didn't have a ten yr, that or we weren't invited.
The only reason I wanted to go was to see my old boyfriends. There is this one guy who I have always wanted to know what ever happened to him. I imagine he has been divorced a couple of times by now.LOL
