    Default Today (5/23)

Yesterday was DS2's last day of school. Today is DS#1's. So I took the day off for some one on one time with DS#2.

I got up early and cut and laid the carpet in the laundry room and will probably take the cat to the vet. Other than that I plan on spending time playing games and puttering around with Ko (DS#2). Currently he's sleeping in. He's my sleepy child. We've got a lot going on here though as far as half started projects and I'm sure my mind will be wandering to some of them. I'm constantly mulling the ideas in my head for "what next" as far as what we'll work on finishing.

    This evening I will be
    ~ paying the bills
~ sorting through what we have that can be used in the computer/laundry room now that the carpet is down
~ finding something to wear that fits and is comfortable to be wet in for the waterpark activity we have planned for Sat. (the kids got free tickets through school)
~ getting DH to hand curtain hooks
    ~ General cleaning

    Have a great day!!!!!

Beautiful sunny morning here. I am going with a friend to play tennis. I will work on cleaning windows in the afternoon. Later we are meeting some friends for supper. Have a great day everyone!

Wow...you're kids get out of school EARLY down there!!! When do they start again? Here they get out at the end of June and go back the first week of september!
Today I am going to re-organize my closet, and attempt to bake homemade bread....we'll see :S I hope it works, but I'm also not wanting to waste the ingredients! I'm using my Dining on a Dime cookbook recipe........

I'm thinking today those flowers will finally get planted.
Not much else going on, did all my running around yesterday. I will have to shower, clean bathroom, empty dw & make dinner. Exciting day! Hope yours is a good one.

Ko goes to what they consider and all year school. He'll go back about the 12th of July.

Re DS#1 will go back sometime in the 2nd to last week of August.

I will be in heaven for the next four days. I love it when DH takes the day off and is here with me. He took off today and of course, his office is closed Monday. We have him here for four days in a row.

~DD had to go in this morning to take three tests, so he and I dropped her off. We will pick her up between 12:00-1:00.
~We have already taken in his car to get a new tire (and picked it back up).
~We went and looked at new trucks. We are planning to go back later today and price a few more trucks and some mid-sized cars. It is time for both of our vehicles to be replaced.
~DD has an appointment for a manicure and pedicure this afternoon.
~After that we will pick up her friend and drop the two of them off at the museum DD volunteers at. The symphony is having an outside concert and picnic there tonight. DD and her friend are volunteering for the event.
~Once the concert is over we will take DD's friend home and then take DD to my mom's house. They are having a girls only weekend.
~Not sure what DS is going to today. We will probably take him to batting practice and then to the internet cafe for the night.

Today is the second day in two weeks where I've been able to stay home. No errands!!

Needless to say, with all this running around my house is a wreck. Today is all about cleaning & getting caught up!

    I've already:
~sent dh off to work w/ home lunch (leftovers)
    ~washed the dishes
~cleaned the kitchen, right down to the walls
~decluttered the "mantle" above my sink (holy cow! )
~cleaned out three drawers in my pantry/kitchen
    ~swiffered the downstairs
    ~picked up the dining room

    Still need to:
    ~pick up the living room
    ~vacuum downstairs
    ~empty my hamper
    ~put away the boys' clothes
    ~put away my clothes
    ~make the bed
    ~clean the downstairs bathroom

    Happy Anniversary rcannon!

I've been feeling foul and have been curled up in bed all day. I'm not looking forward to this evening while feeling like butt. We're loading the car to the max taking yard sale stuff to my mom's (she lives in a better location for one than we do, and there's a huge neighborhood thing going on.) Then we've got to climb around in her hot attic for some stuff we stored there. Price everything, set stuff up in the garage. And then I'm making dinner for six of us, shrimp fajitas, nummy. Draggin' my dead behind out of bed at six am saturday. I'm hoping the extra money will sooth my icky!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
