Super Saturday
What's everyone doing today?
Gripey and I are just knocking around the house for now. He's outside piddling in the yard, getting ready to mow, I think. I'm not doing a thing yet although the sheets need to be washed and I need to pick and put up around the house. I'm gonna workout at some point and cook something for family that will be coming in tomorrow. Otherwise.....not much. I'm off to
.

DH and I went to a few yard sales this morning.
He and I need to take a nap. We did not pick up DS until 1:00 am from the internet cafe so we are sleepy.
Later today we need to give both dogs a bath. Oh boy - what fun.
We also want to finish painting my craft room and start on either DS's room or DD's room.
We will head to the batting cages later for some practice.
DS is going to a lock in at the internet cafe tonight.
Otherwise we are just hanging out.DD (19)

I am paying bills, working on a monthly budget and doing chores. We are going to a graduation party this afternoon and then we'll stop at the store I buy my make up and lotion from on our way home. Then we'll eat leftovers later this evening at home for supper. We have a movie to watch too later this evening

Dh and me did a lot of errands and work yesterday, so we are going a little slower today.

I have some laundry to do.
Going to put a crockpot meal together.
Maybe vacuum
if dh goes out and works out in the barn. Have to get him out from under foot to do that.
But otherwise---
and
and
and whatever.

I am working today--- 9-2.
Since we are super slow at work, I am balancing my checkbook, figuring my shopping list, and looking at the Dave Ramsey money makeover workbook.
I am going to grocery shop and then go home and clean!McD

I just got back from a 3 mile run. When DH gets back from running, we'll go work in the yard. Today, we're installing my new clothesline and a rain barrel.
Later, I'm going to bake some muffins and take it easy for the rest of the day, probably read a book or go through old decorating magazines. Dinner will be leftovers or veggie burgers on the grill.
I'm so happy for the long weekend. I commute 60 miles a day and it's a drain on my bank account and spirit.

I woke up... let's call it a day

made coffee and a proper breakfast -- for just ME
dug out the sewing machine and extension cord, sat outside and sewed 3 shopping bags.
drank more coffee
later I will
fight with the sewing machine more (it's winning)
cut out some jumper dresses
sew them -- unless I surrender
walk to the store -- unless it's raining
get dinner ready
do the dishes
get rid of 2 bags of clothes **my goal**
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

~Hubby's out getting the oil changed in the van so we're ready for our road trip next week. He's also using a Home Depot coupon to pick up a nice set of garden tools and also making an Aldi run. I'm home with the kids, paying bills, doing chores and catching up on posts here. Hopefully I can get outside and get my plants in the ground today. I also have some curtains to sew up for my mama but other than that I'll be having a lazy day!~

DH has to work today, so I went to the Farmer's Market and picked up some squash. Ours isn't big enough to pick yet. DS#2 is mowing the lawn and I will try to weedeat later.
This afternoon we will probably jump in the pool. No big plans here!~*Michelle*~

I worked last night for the first time after being off and out of town for almost two weeks. I heard one the guys I had scheduled for Monday couldn't work, so I pulled out the schedule to see what that did to the day. And OH NO! saw that I was down for a DOUBLE shift today. So I'm at work -- 9 a.m. to 11 p.m, and jet lagged out of my mind. Last night I just melted in a puddle over the desk by 11. Tonight will be worse. Bring on the tea and Coke! But I will survive. Somehow. At least I have someone with me both shifts to keep me awake! The patrons sure won't do it. Right now there is only one person using the library and he's on another floor.

We went to two graduation parties last night so I'm feeling a little less than stellar this morning.

So far I have...
showered
painted a lazy suzan to match my painted table and chairs
painted a lamp shade (both of these will be on my blog next week)
washed a load of laundry
DH is going to work at noon so after he's out of my hair I plan to...
finish laundry
sand down and stain the top of my table
RELAX!
I hope everyone has a great Saturday!

I have already gone to the yard sales and thrift stores that I wanted to go to. I did not find anything that I wanted. ( I miss the thrift stores in my old town.)
I also went to the garden center and go some more plants to put in the yard.
I really want to put my plants in, but the weather is icky out. It rained this morning and now it is windy. If it clears up and warms up, I put my plants in the ground. Otherwise they were need to wait.
I also need to bake a dessert for a church dinner tonight.
I need to help set up at 3:30 and dinner is at 5:30.
I also could go help paint sets for the local theater company, but I am not sure I will go.
I also would like to take a nap, since I only got a few hours of sleep last night.Julie

I went yard sailing and found the cutest little bench to plant flowers in for $5. So I went to Walmart and picked up 4 Geraniums for $4 and came home and cleaned the bench and planted them. Watered the other flowers and picked a few weeds.
Dh is cutting and stacking wood. The boys are helping.
I just threw in some wash and am puttering around the inside of the house.
Leftovers for supper and the rest of the day will be quiet. Yds has to work tonight and tomorrow and ods has a 16 hour shift tomorrow

Pretty much the usual Saturday routine. Take walk, went to grocery store, went to CVS, made a coffee cake in the microwave (experiment to save electricity - not using the electric oven) it came out ok, still need to sweep and mop the floors. Other than that I am taking it easy!!
