    Smile Frugal Mama here

    How did you hear about frugal village?
    I did a google search for "frugal living". Always trying to find sites with good tips. Forums are even better!

    What interests you here?
    Finding out how others are living frugally without feeling deprived.

    What will you contribute?
    Ways to live frugally that are also sustainable and good for the environment.

    Do you know any other members here?
    Not yet!

    One 2.5 year old boy.

    Tell us about yourself.
    I'm a SAHM who will soon be opening our home for child care in Portland, OR. I just turned 30, and so far so good. I love to knit, read, play piano, read, paint, read, concoct wonderful things in my kitchen (from homemade cleaners to yummy roasted chicken) and blog. It is my dream to have a homestead in 5 years.

    Do you own any pets?
    No. Allergic to cats. Apartment too small for a dog (I have a strong dislike for small, yappy dogs).

    Occupation?
    SAHM/Child Care provider.

    Married or single?
