    Default Well I'm Back

    Well I'm home. I had a great time in Maryland. I stayed with my son's sponsor parents. They were great. This is they sponsored 13 MIds this year and with graduation on the 23rd they lost 4 so they asked for 4 more. They open their home to them. Give them all house keys. They have a storeage for them to store their things. Let them drive their cars. Take them out to eat. They seem to enjoy all these young people. They gave my son a truck and will be giving another Mid a truck soon. The graduation was great. They had 1037 graduate fron the Naval Academy. Of course I cried...... wouldn't be a mom if I didn't....lol. We went to a lot of partys because it was fleet week. After graduation his sponsors had a big party for them. They had a cake made in the shap of a destroyer All these young people were so polite. The day I left we walked around the mall in DC. We seen all the memorials. If I figure out how to post pics I will

    Awe Ferny, I'm so glad you had such a nice time in MD and DC with your ds. Sounds like it full of great memories and yep, Mom's are allowed to cry. His Sponsors sound like great people too! I hope we get to see some pictures! Welcome home!

    Fern, I am so glad you were able to make the trip to see your DS graduate from the Naval Academy. I am sure those will be memories you will remember for a life time. And, yep, it is ok for moms to cry!
