Looking For A new Fan. What Brand Should I buy?

Since we need to not use the air conditioner due to finacial reasons we decided that we need to purchase some fans. Does any one have a favorite brand of fan? Box fans are SOOO NOISY you have to scream to be heard, or have the TV up so loud that I get a migrane.

Any recomondations?

dh and I got "hawaiian breeze" fans from target on sale 3 summers ago from target
we got two tower fans that either point straight ahead or ocsilate either "on" or on a timer
and two stand up fans
they are all pretty quite
were run almost around the clock for two summers and have held up quite well
I think the towers were like 25ish
and the stand ups like 19ish

Walmart has Aloha Breeze fans that are pretty good. I also bought 3 fans Friday for the same reason.

Thanks. I'm going to look them both up on the internet to see what ones would be best for us. Word of mouth is always best when making a new purchase, even if it is as small as a fan.

Jenna, I hope things turn around for you soon financialy. I sure understand what you are going through.
