Hello all!
My name is Amanda, and I am from Ohio. I am married and have 4 children. Pandora 7, Winter 5.5, Braedyn 3.5 and Bryleigh 20 mths.
I have been TRYING to downsize everything in our lives, but have a lot of problems talking the husband into it. He likes his big TV, and his cable with ALL the extra channels, he likes to bring home fast foods, etc. We have had some really knock down fights about it. I just can't seem to reason with him at all! We both agreed that I would stay home with our kids, but now he says I need a job to "help out" We would be fine if he didn't spend silly money. He makes between 600 and 900 a week. I refuse to get a job so I can pay 170/month for his rent to own big screen tv! SOrry for the ranting intro, I am just very flustered and don't know how to fix things.

Hi there and
to the Village! As for DH have you tried talking to him? My DH loves his gizmos and gadgets but after a talk with him and some patience I have been able to revert him, it will take time but on that note I am also a SAHM.

Hi Amanda,
Glad you joined us.
" May we never let the things we can’t have or don’t have or shouldn’t have spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness, let us not forget it. One of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have."
