    Default Just had to tell.....

last night was awards night and my daughter received over $2000 in scholarships..... just wanting to brag a little, she has such a smart class and we are just so proud of her..... she will be attending Ball State in Muncie for her RN degree, she wants to specialize in neonatal care..... she will be taking lots of student loans, and we will help where we can......OMG it is so expensive.......

That's wonderful! Yes, it is expensive, no doubt (we put 3 through college). One thing that does help is if she can find out early what books she'll be needing and if you can buy them off of half.com or somewhere like that (MUCH cheaper than the campus bookstore even for used books). Also, resell them on half.com as well, will make her more than the bookstore again.

Congrats again, I know you're all thrilled and relieved.

Wow! You have a right to brag and your DD should be VERY proud of herself. She is heading into a good field. Sounds like you have done a wonderful job raising her.
