    Default Dealing with insurance company

About a month ago we had a major hail storm (golf ball sized). Well, the house suffered a lot of damage. Whilr I am happy with most of the amounts given for our claim, the amount for the roof is $800 lower than the lowest quote. Here is how things are looking.

    Insurance amount: $4039
    Quote 1: $5324
    Quote 2: $4996
    Quote 3: $4835

The thing is while fighting to get more from the insurance company, we developed a couple leaks. Leading to drywall damage and $60 for tarps.

I plan on meeting with the insurance company Monday. I am planning on asking for $1000 more for the roof and to cover the drywall and tarps. Does anyone think that is not reasonable?

Its reasonable ,but don't hold your breath.
Our insurance paid way to little the time our house burnt.
Its been 8 years now and we still don't have it all fixed back up.
    Wishing you Better Luck
