Creek pics in the Gallery

Someone was asking about the creek in our front yard so I posted some pics. It's usually a calm serene spot but can become a raging river with whole trees and other debris rushing past. Since we've lived here there was one very close call in 1996. I don't want a repeat or worse of that. It came up to the house and was lapping at our basement windows. The clean up from that was something.
In good weather you can kayak, canoe, fish & swim. The wildlife is awesome.
Snowy cold winter can look breathtaking.
Lovely place to live as long as it stays in it's banks.

Oh my gosh Darlene, it is breath-takingly (is that a word????) beautiful and so picturesque!!!!! You live in a beautiful place.

Darlene you have the "bestest" homestead EVER! Really! It's such a beautiful, serene place. I was just going to post about how lovely your property is and how much I would love to live there. Need some company? LOL

I know you appreciate it but if you ever have any qualms about it, just think of me sitting here in the desert with not even a speck of green grass. Please, sit in your porch swing, look over your property and take a drink of lemonade, ......I'll be sitting there beside you in my dreams.
