Central NC Forecast for the next week: highs in the upper '90s with heat indices of 104-107. We already have warnings to be careful with our outdoor activities. I'm so bummed because I have managed to not turn on our AC before the end of June/early July for the last 3 years, but this type of heat/humidity combo can make you sick very quickly.

Even thought this seems unusual, it isn't unheard of...Sometimes we have 'late' summers and sometimes 'early' summers, all thanks to when the Bermuda High forms and starts pumping warm tropical air over us.

No heatwave here in the Northeast anyway, warmest day for the next seven days is 73. Lots of thunderstorms coming.
