Default Heat wave on the east coast

Everyone on the east coast here getting ready for our first heat wave? My DD's wedding is Saturday and it's supposed to reach 92 degrees! I feel a little wilted already.

I'm in northern NJ and it's 82°F right now and suppose to be 87° on Sat. We're feeling it.

Hope all goes well with the wedding and it's a
    beautiful day.

We're expecting a high of 88 on Friday...that means here in the urban area it will be 90 or more. Blah. I've already decided dh is grilling outside that day and I'll make a pasta salad on Thursday (when the high is only supposed to be 60 ) so I don't have to heat up the house.

I'm in South Jersey. Going to be 87 on Saturday. Good thing it's the Girl Scout Beach Bop and my day will be spent at Wildwood Boardwalk by the ocean and in the waterpark there.

I have three on layaway at Kmart. They aren't due to be picked up for another two weeks. They are for the kids' bedrooms. It gets at least 20 degrees hotter upstairs than it does downstairs. UGH. I think the kids will be sleeping downstairs Friday night.

Really not looking forward to the heat wave. Right now I am getting used to having a really dark apartment with the blinds closed. Has helped to keep the place cool and liveable.

Boo Hiss on the heat, I'm not a fan. Or an air conditioner. Man I'm in a goofy mood.

    Stay cool Daddy-O's!

Heather if I had the room you have (I live in a 3 bedroom trailer and it gets as hot as and oven in here) my kids would each get one in their rooms too! I really hope that the new AC's do a good job at keeping us comfortable..if not my kids will be sleeping in the living room like they have for years now..

I hope it is a beautiful day. Better some heat than thunder storms. Look at the bright side of things, and help your Dd make some wonderful family memories on her special day.
