Looney Tunes Mahjong question

Am I just not getting it?

I can clear of the screen in about 50 seconds, but I can't seem to beat my best score. What is it? Am I supposed to avoid clearing certain tiles?? Is there something about the points i just don't get?

Hmmm, I don't know Missy. I would think if you are improving your time then you should improve your score.

I don't get it either. I did better scores earlier last week and could not beat folks that had a longer time.

Yeah me too. Which has me wondering if its a particular order you are supposed to clear? Or a particular tile you should avoid clearing till the end (like the 8 ball in pool)? Either way it's still fun.

I've played it on another site and it can be finished in under 30 seconds. I think that's the highest score. I don't know if there's a rhyme or reason. I think it's just timing.

Yeah, I think it's wonky. Your note says you got it done in 35 seconds, it says 50. And then it says I cleared a board in 1:13 and gave me more points than someone who cleared it in 1:03

Is there somehting I am not getting? Am I just doing it wrong in order?

i just got it done in :45 and it gave me 8758 points. it's driving me nuts, what am i doing wrong???

maybe i was looking at the timer wrong? it says on the scoreboard 1:27

Don't pay attention to the timer on the scoreboard. I believe that timer starts as soon as you open the game, before you've even clicked to start. Just try to get it done as fast as possible using the timer IN the game itself

I think it goes by how fast you clear the screen but not sure. I realize the longer it takes me the less points I get.

that's what I thought, but i just cleared the screen in 48 seconds just now and it gave me 8700 points. i cleared int in 1:03 and got more points than that. I am determined to beat my highest score, but i think i am not seeing something.
