    Talking What a nice boss......

Yesterday when I got to work I had a note on my desk to ask my boss about gas prices. Huh?? I am his personal secretary and I only work 3 hours a day. I pay his bills, collect rents for him, stuff like that, so gas prices?? Anyway, when he got there he told me that since I use my personal car to take bank deposits (maybe 3 times a month cause I usually wait till I have several checks) and occasionally pick up the mail, that he wants to give me "kind of" a raise. Now mind you the banks and post office I go to are within 6 blocks of his office in a downtown area in our small town. He told me that once a month he wants me to fill up my car (and to make sure it is on empty when I do ) and charge it to him at this station he uses.

WOW, that is like getting approx. a $60.00 (with the gas prices what they are right now) raise without any taxes, etc. taken out.

What a wonderful boss I have!!!!!!!

That is wonderful. Its good to have that nice of a boss that is that thoughtful. I know how much it means. My husband drives a company vehicle and they pay for the gas. Since his job is an hour from home that really means a lot.

That's a terrific raise and probably couldn't have came at a better time with the gas prices being what they are! You are very right when you say you have a nice boss, your boss is a peach!!!
