What are you doing this weekend?

I will be doing the following:

Finish painting oldest daughters old room...its gonna be so cute!
Start prepping extra bedroom for paint
Cleaning carpets...they need it bad!
Giving dogs haircuts and baths...they also need it bad!

Tomorrow we are having a yard sale. After which my teenagers are going to the movies, then the older one is going to a friends house for the night.

Sunday all four kids are going to their grandparents for the day. So dh & I will have the whole day to ourselves. We'll probably go out to lunch or something.

Tomorrow morning I have an appointment with the dr to get some help for my asthma. Other than that I don't have any plans yet. But you know I'll find some time to read!!

My DD leaves for her internship at the Adirondack Museum in NY tomorrow ~ DH is driving up with her, staying with my Mom for the weekend, checking DD in on Monday, then flying back here on Tuesday.

DS and I will probably go to the movies in between his working. I'll be trying to finish up an afghan and watching some shows I have had on the DVR for ages.

Tomorrow morning, I'm going for a run. Then I'll work in my garden, paint the front steps, and clean the house. In the evening, I'm going to see DH's band play at a martini bar (we drink free, yay!)

Sunday, I'll grocery shop and prep food for the week.

Nothing too exciting!

we (the wife and I) are watching her niece's two kids. He (the terror) is 2 1/2. I am not looking forward to this weekend. I'm too old and have no patience for this.
He throws a wicked temper tantrum if he doesn't get what he wants.

Maybe a good weekend to hide in the shop.

Hopefully I will get the windows cleaned!!! Keep putting it off. It if supposed to be pretty hot and humid this weekend so probably will not be doing much.

Hiya

Well... DH works tomorrow (Saturday) and it is supposed to be in the mid 90's tomorrow YIKES! So it might be toooooo hot to go to yard sales but I can clean up my yard a bit.

Then some things to clean up in the house such as... cleaning off the spare bedroom walls to prep it for painting, then sweep and mop the hallway hardwood floors, vacumn the bedrooms (2) and get DD to clean up her room a bit (That's a task in itself, lol).... after DH get's home from work, we are heading to home depot to see about getting some fencing (nosy neighbors are getting on my nerves).

Sunday - not sure what we are doing, it's supposed to be hot again

AND being the frugalist I am I really dont want to turn on the AC.

Tonight we are going to the ball field to watch a couple of our friends' sons play.

In the morning my cousin is having a yard sale. She does not feel like she can do it without me there so DH and I are going. That means leaving our house at 4:00 am to get there by 4:30 am so we can have everything set up by 5:30 am. The only bright spot is we will be cleaned up and gone by 10:00 am.

DS has baseball practice for the all-star team Saturday afternoon.

As of now, that is all we have planned. Although I am sure we will have lots of other things come up.

Sat. dress rehearsal for dance recital.
Sun. Dance Recital and dinner out.

A marathon knitting session to finish this baby blanket I've been working on for donation. (sick and displaced (foster) kids).

Then maybe a pair of socks for little ole' me. (I don't think I've EVER knitted anything for me! ... come to think of it.........LOL!

DS has baseball game tonight, DD has softball game tonight, so that covers my exciting Friday night plans. DH is working all weekend, so I guess I will be home cleaning and reading, sounds kinda nice.

We have some friends coming to stay the night tonight, so I will be cleaning today. I had hoped everything clean earlier this week. However,we have have had storms every night this week and I have been sleep deprived. Our basement also flooded, so I have been cleaning that up this week.

Tomorrow, my DH and I are collecting items for the church garage sale in the morning. I hope to do some sewing in the afternoon.

On Sunday, we have church and I hope to sew in the afternoon. I also need to clean out our spare bedroom (our office).
My FIL is coming for the week on Monday. So I will also be doing some more cleaning before he comes.
