Unhappy Anyone seen the stockmarket today?!!?

I spent most of the day off the computer and just came in to check the news. Wow!!! Oil at its close was up $10.71 in one day! The market itself made a nose dive. Today is/will not be a good news day.

Yeah, I wanted to shoot this guy earlier...
Oil prices shot up nearly $7 a barrel Friday, extending big gains from the previous day and racing toward an all-time high after a Morgan Stanley analyst predicted prices could hit $150 by the Fourth of July.

I swear a lot of the upswings are manipulation by the speculating commentators....ggrrhhhhhh.

I got all excited yesterday when I saw that the gas had actually dropped here from $3.97 to $3.94. But then the huge jump today in the price per barrel...I am afraid to see what the price will be tomorrow.

Our gas had dropped from 3.99 to 3.83 over the last couple of days. I filled up this morning at 3.83. I noticed before I got home from errands we were back up to 3.99. I think the stations are all watching each other to see who will break the $4 mark. I bet it goes tonight or in the morning.

Cheapest gas here is 4.35. Yep.

As for the stock market, it just means stocks are on sale. I'm thinking of buying some more of my mutual fund. Buy low, sell high.

As strange as it is, my 401K did GREAT today! I had been down for the year, but no longer, in a single day I've recouped almost everything that was lost earlier.

The stock market goes down and up, it's just what it does. It's actually a great time to buy certain stock. What annoys me is that commodity speculation can cause such panic regarding oil prices. Really annoys me.
