    Default Saturday 6/7 - What are your plans?

    As for me, it's going to be a HOT day today with some rain (I HOPE!) I really want to pull weeds outside before it get's too hot.

    Then off to:
    ~ Farmers Market for some corn on the cob
    ~ Sweep the upstairs hallway (pesky dog shedding all over)
    ~ Wash a load of laundry (hang to dry? If it doesnt rain!)
    ~ Make bed (I've been lazy this morning, plus I am in it right now, lol)
    ~ Stop at the supermarket to pick up some milk and bread

    Anywhere I go today I am either walking or riding my bike, so I am saving GAS! YAY!

    What are your plans today?

    We are still on the road. We are in Lafayette, Louisiana at the moment. We are about to have breakfast and hit the road. Going to Mobile, Alabama, visit the beach and head for home.

    Well it is going to be a humid 90 degrees here today. So I am either going to put something in the crockpot or we will be grilling something.

    I need to wash some bedding today.

    I found some mold growing in my sons closet the other day. So I am going to have to take everything out of there and take care of that. (wash it down with bleach water and maybe repaint it)

    Try and figure out what is causing it (I think it was because it is an outside wall underground and we had some blankets shoved up there and the moisture stayed up there)

    I need to list some stuff on craigslist

    Need to have DH after he gets home from work, rechaulk the shower in the bathroom downstairs. (I took off all of the old stuff as it was yucky and repainted the floor) It looks so nice I do not want the kids to use it.

    Work on some pillows I am making for the guest bedroom.

    Try and stay cool. I do not want to turn on the AC until at least noon. DH will SCREAM if it is not cool in here when he gets home. So I am trying to leave it off until I have to turn it on and he should be home about 1 p.m. or after.

    It's supposed to be 90 and humid here today. With a chance of a thundershower this afternoon. I am going to use a gift card I have to buy a bathing suit and a beach towel today. I am going to try swimming in the pool at the apartment complex I live in today (if I find a suit I like and if it doesn't storm). We are going to price bicycles today too. We are going to invest a little money on bikes and a bike rack for the car so that we can bike outside for exercise.

    I have some chores to complete: clean the kitty litter, sweep, vacuum the furniture, wash a few loads of laundry (hang some of it to dry), and make dinner this evening.

    Then later I hope to read my books and watch a movie. Maybe ride bikes too if we find some we like today .

    DD and I went for a bike ride this morning. NOW:
    need to:
    wash tap and ballet shoes
    check costumes
    check tights
    get hair and makeup bags ready
    be at auditorium @ 2:30 for dress rehearsal
    pack cooler with drinks and dinner stuff

    Do some laundry in between
    Do some dishes that somehow turned up overnight.

    * swimming
    * laundry
    * change out linens on the beds & re-make
    * dh will probably mow

    That's about it for today

    We had a yard sale at my aunt & mom's house this morning. Afterwards we stopped at two flea markets and came home. I have not been asleep since 3:00 yesterday afternoon so I am about to nap for a few hours.

    Tonight the kids will most likely go out with their friends while DH and I just hang out at home or at the ballpark.

    We golfed this morning. I am packing a cooler with drinks and snacks and we are going out on the lake with friends. It's overcast and very warm here. A nice , relaxing day.

    Gripey and I have been at home all day. I've washed the sheets and put them back on our bed, had a shower, done my hair/makeup/got clothes on (huge accomplishment as I wanted to stay in my jammies all day....lol). I've put away clean laundry, picked up lots of piles of stuff that I had just sitting around, went through a stack of mail and shredded a bunch of it, made out a graduation card to send to a friend's son.....The pool guy came and did the silver dollar size repair and is gone. Gripey's filling the pool (oh I can't wait to get in it...probably tomorrow) now.

    Oldest dd and her dh are coming over to have us take some pics of them and their dog (in lieu of real portraits and photog. fees) in our yard with the pretty flowers and such..... . We're gonna go and have mexican food afterward Not too much other than that.
