    I recently found this site and want to introduce myself. I live with dh in a log home in the beautiful state of Maine. I am a retired RN and we live on a fixed income now. So anyway to be frugal is of interest to me. In these days it is harder and harder to make a dollar stretch and we all seem to be in the same boat. In a way we are better of since I no longer work, since my last job was 40 miles away one way. I put a lot of milage on my previous cars. We now have a 3 yr old Ford Ranger and the mileage on it just hit 20,000. I would use more than that in one year when working. We live with 2 dogs and one very independent cat. I enjoy knitting, reading, and cooking. I am sure I will enjoy all the info here.
