Default June 11th and it's snowing here today!!

I have been watching the news about the East coast being pounded with extremely high temps, and we have a snow advisory out for today! WHAT?!?!? We live in the mountains of Montana, and this is just a bit ridiculous! It's the first week of summer vacation for my kids, and it seems crazy to have snowboots out "just in case." Oh well, I guess I'll embrace it and go bake cookies and treats to keep the house warm. I'm glad I didn't talk DH into a pool this year...

    Stay cool, all!

Oh no! I was in Bozeman once for vacation over the 4th of July when I was really young, and I remember thinking that it was the coolest thing in the world that it snowed on the 4th of July!

I like your idea of baking cookies to keep the house warm! I baked some 2 days ago and even with the AC on, the house was sweltering when I was done!

I remember in 1978 (ok before some of you were born...!) it snowed on May 9th in the panhandle of Texas where we live....we got about 12 inches.

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

That is crazy!! I guess I have never seen snow in the summer - but I guess it isn't officially summer until June 21st. BUT still!?!? I am sure the kids will enjoy the snow and the cookies!

What part of Montana are you in? We are traveling to the Red Lodge area by motorcycle, should we anticipate snow?

    Thanks,

All right, here in the middle of the New England heat wave, I do not want your snow-----but if you can throw out maybe a strong breeze our way.... That'd be cool!

I would love to take a bit of the cool breeze that you are sending to New England . We are scorching down here in Texas . Enjoy your June snow
