    Default Finally set the date and location!

    Just called today to confirm our wedding/reception location. What a relief now that we can finally give people a real date (we've been engaged 3 months and people just won't. stop. asking.) and we have a location we know isn't booked. Oh, and we've got the local mayor all set up to marry us.

    So August 1, 2009 it is! We're getting married at the lodge up on Tussey Mountain. It's simple but has a beautiful view back over our town and we get the whole thing to ourselves. All the decorating and such is up to us which I love because I hate "wedding packages." It's perfect! I have a place in my heart for this mountain anyway because last fall I ran on a relay team their 50-mile Tussey Mountainback race! <3

    Ok, anyway...thanks for indulging me in my excitement.

    That's why we planned it then!

    Actually we met and started dating in August so it will be our 4 year anniversary too and I guess our anniversaries will always sort of overlap.

    Plus keeping it out of the school year is less stress for us! I'd love to just do it THIS August, but we need some time to save $$...

    That's good, because then you can celebrate both anniversaries at once and save money!

    Our wedding anniversary is five days after DH's birthday, so we do one thing to celebrate both. And I only have to buy one present.

    i know the venue where i want to get married, im hoping to get it cheap as BF father works there, but it wont be for a few years yet, im just looking for prices.
