Karma...
Ok, someone's post about Karma and the casino got me thinking about Karma!
Just curious if anyone does any "regular" good deeds. Do you do any little things to try to help your karma?
I figure, karma is in the little things. The other day at the grocery store the lines were super long and there was a man, pacing around with a single bouquet of flowers. I asked the people behind me if they would mind if I let him go in front of me. They all said it was fine, so we let him go ahead. The flowers were for his daughters high school graduation which was starting in 15 minutes, and he was afraid he was going to be late. Gave me a warm fuzzy feeling that I let him go in front of me!
One thing I do every week, which is totally minor, but I hope makes someone's day ~ every time I go to Aldi's, I always put my cart back in the cart line, but leave my quarter in it. That way, I figure someone gets a free cart for the day! I hope it at least puts a smile one someones face!
Do you guys do anything to enhance your karma a little bit?

I believe in Karma - but not in the sense that the universe is somehow rewarding (or punishing) me for my actions.
I believe that your mind leads to what you think about - both conciously or subconsiously (sorry, I know I can't spell).
In that you sort of bring on your own luck. Its hard to explain, but I feel that if you do good things, your mind is thinking about good things, which in turn leads you to good things.

I absolutley do. I believe in Karma as sort of my spiritual belief, if you will.
I try to live my life in a "pay it forward" manner and hope that what goes around comes around. And it does, really, even when things are in shambles I always manage to find blessings.
If someone is horrible to me, I try to really let it all slide and assume Karma will finish my business for me.

I absolutely believe in "what goes around, comes around"...but I don't use the word karma that much.
I love to do the little things too. Always makes me smile deep within when you know you've done something nice for someone who will never know who did it.

So here's my theory...if I do good things to get good karma....it totally makes up for all the bad things I do throughout the week. Isn't that how it works?

I try to do little things for other people, in sort of a pay it forward type thinking.

I think I create good karma everyday by not causing unnecessary suffering to animals by choosing not to eat them no matter how badly I'd like a juicy cheeseburger or some BBQ chicken.

Well...Mrs. McDowell's dh HAS been gone for a looongg time. She's entitled to do all the bad things she wants!!! LOL.
I do good deeds. Not because I hope to get something in return. I believe one of our biggest jobs on this earth is to help one another. That's what I try to do.Mom to two crazy boys

I am a great believer in Karma. My mom was Buddhist and we were alway raised to pay it forward and that whatever we did either good or bad always came back threefold.
Unlike The Muse (and I applaud you in this) I have yet to have the complete willpower not to consume animals (I live with a diehard carnivore) Maybe someday.

Oh, I so believe in Karma, and lately, it's very strange, but I've been finding other people's valuables. A wallet at the grocery store, a purse at the doctor's office. A driver's license on the counter at another store, with all these, I made sure the rightful owner got them back. Now I believe that I found these things because I would return them, some times thats not the case. Good Karma for me and for the rightful owners. What goes around, comes around, is so true, I've lived long enough to see this work.
