I am taking my husband out for a nice dinner and buying him a nice gift...haven't figured what it's gonna be yet though.

Taking DH to see Billy Joel at Mohegan Sun, should be a good evening, now if I could hit big with those one armed bandits!

We don't have any major plans for Father's Day, but we're doing something I read in Family Fun. We're having POPcorn, Soda POP, POP Tarts, and POPsicles. The kids are maing Top Pop awards for their Daddy. We'll probably spend most o the day at the pool with our POP-themed snacks.

Well I could do for him what he did for me.....ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! However, I got him a Dale Jr. t-shirt and ball cap, and the kids have already made him some Father's Day cards. Not going out to dinner either....I'll be making meatloaf (his favorite, even though he doesn't deserve it-lol), mashed potatoes, corn, and rolls.

DH is working. So will not be doing a whole lot.
Might go to the store and get him a big T-Bone steak for the grill.
Did get him a logitech Harmony universal remote. Got it for FREE. I am a buzz agent and get to try it out and buzz to people about it. (retails for $249.00)
I do not know who is going to like it more him or me. I am so sick of trying to figure out how to use the 5 remotes we have for all of this electronic stuff.
Will take the kids someplace to get him something today or tom.

Hubby doesn't "do" Fathers Day, thinks it's a greeting card gimic. I did get him a card, lmao, and will give him a kiss, hug & make him a nice dinner.

We're bringing gifts (not sure what) to DH's dad and grandfather. It'll be a short visit because I have to travel overseas for work on Monday. The timing couldn't be worse.

DH isn't a father, so I'm not doing anything for him.

I wish DH's family would adopt this attitude. They expect a big deal, or else it becomes a federal case.

DH and I do not like these silly Hallmark marketing opportunity "holidays". We give generously for Christmas and birthdays, and feel that should be enough.

He's gone and will be on Father's Day. I'm going to let the girls send him an email, but honestly it's a tossup as to whether he gets it because the ships mail system doesn't seem to be very reliable.

We don't normally make a big deal out of Father's or Mother's day here. I let the girls scribble out cards but that's as far as it gets.

I bought my dh some new socks and a new belt, he needed both, so those will be from the kids. I will probably give him a coupon for something fun, "Good for an activity of your choice", etc. Other than that I have to work so he will get to be home with kids all day!!
