    Default Suki, I have to ask...

    Did you grow that corn yourself?? If so, HELP!!! What am I doing wrong? My corn never gets above say 3.5 ft!! Your avatar pic always makes me so jealous!!

    LOL, that's hubby's corn out in the garden. I was out harvesting last summer and he pulled the old "Hey, honey" I turned around and he snapped the pic.

    I just asked him about it and his answer was, "that was indian popcorn and it grows taller. Different varieties grow differently, but they all need plenty of water, nitrogen and sun".

    Our sweet corn is only about 3 ft tall right now and is starting to tassle. Don't feel bad!

    Ok, whew. LOL, i was feeling awful sorry for my pitiful little corn stalks of last year. I want mine to look as healthy and happy as yours does, so I will get some nitrogen rich fertilizer specially for them. Thanks so much!!
