Hello from the Appalachias!

Hi! I am Mary and I thought to FINALLY join. I have been reading these boards for about a year now and never got around to making it my "home". I have been in the hospital for a few months, then from there started full time as a college student (I am in my 40's). It has been a very busy year for me.
I will answer the questions suggested:
How did you hear about frugal village?
I believe it was from one of the yahoo group forums I was a member of. It has been so long, um, well, that is my answer and I will stick with it.
What interests you here?
Everything! I love browsing through all the topics. I LOVE the layout and the kindness of the users here.
What will you contribute?
My own tips of saving money, crafting, any idea or thing that may be of interest to others.
Do you know any other members here?
Not yet. I hope to make friends here.
How many kids? Ages?
2 boys, Matt - 20 (he just got back from Iraq!) and Jon - 18
Tell us about yourself.
I LOVE the outdoors! Camping, hiking, rafting, the mountains! I am going after my BS in Biology so I can become a Naturalist.
Do you own any pets?
Sadly, no. Campus apartments won't let us
Occupation?
I work a part time job with the Applachia Archives. It is AWESOME to be able to handle things almost 200 years old! And to learn the lives of others in the region. It is a blessing this job!
Married or single?
Single (widowed) and loving it!
Interests and hobbies?
Crocheting, crafts, just starting to scrapbook, oh, lots more as I can think of them!
