Great Way to save on the Heating/Gas Bill

Okay, just had to share this one with you guys!! On Friday night my ds (2 1/2) was downstairs with my dh cleaning up the basement so we can start work on the bedroom down there. Anyway, being the monster that he is was messing with EVERYTHING!! Now, keep in mind that me or dh knew this at the time!! Dh went to shower yesterday afternoon, and thought that the water was a little chilly, didn't think much of it since I had been doing laundry, I showered in the morning and it was fairly warm. I went to work this morning, and dh said that when he went to shower is was freezing. So he grit his teeth and just bared through it. After his shower he went downstairs to check the water heater, he thought the pilot light was out, well, turns out ds turned the water heater all the way off!!

So, if you want to save a few bucks, have your kids shut your hot water heater off!!
