Anyone having a bad day?
Well, your's should look like a picnic after the day I had yesterday! At this point all I can do is laugh at myself. Heck, all my friends and neighbors are laughing at me...and one has even banned me from holding their baby until my bad karma disapears!
Ok, so here is my streak of bad luck that took over my day yesterday:
Day started out with a HUGE branch getting knocked out of our tree during a storm (now I have to get estimates to have the tree taken down).
DH ran over the back of my leg with a cart while shopping.
Went to make coffee, knocked the carafe against the counter...it broke.
No sooner did I finish cleaning up the glass, and DS dropped an entire bottle of powerade on the floor. Had to move all the kitchen appliances and steam clean the floors so we don't get ants.
Steamed cleaned the whole floor, went to put on a sweatshirt that was on the back of a kitchen chair, pulled it off the kitchen chair and knocked one of the kid's glasses of milk onto the freshly cleaned floor.
Called everyone to dinner, as everyone is coming to the table, I look over and the dog is yaking up on the floor. (yes, that would be the floor I had just cleaned).
Cleaned that up & made dinner. Putting dishes in the dishwasher, had greasy hands...dropped a drinking glass on the floor and shattered it.
Finally, I decided to vacuum my hallway late last night. Hit a shelf hanging on the wall, knocked the whole thing off and broke the glass out of a picture frame.
At least my day today has been better. I swear, this all started becuase I accidentally ran over a squirrel on Saturday....I would have missed him if I could have, but he came out of no where! My neighbor thinks I should give the squirrel a proper buriel to break the curse of bad luck I've had.
At this point, all I can do is laugh...and not touch anything breakable!

WOW!!! First of all, that is a lot of cleaning to do. That alone would make me ward off anyone coming close to the kitchen!! And yes, I would have gone right back to bed, it sounds like that sort of day!!!

Mine started out by finding part of a baby bunny on the back stoop brought home by my cat. And it was just down hill from there
