How COOL is this? (SC Johnson)
I had called the company that manufactures Windex Anti-Fog and got sent through the whole rigamarole of learning that this product had been discontinued since 2002 and that they do not make anything similiar to it.
At the beginning of the call you're prompted to NOT hang up once having completed your call with the customer service person to participate in a short 60 second survey. The poor CS guy tried to get me to leave my mailing addy full name and phone #. I only gave him name and phone # thinking that they'll never call. He reassured me that it was a family run/owned company and that they do not sell their customers information. I still wouldn't budge.
Doing as I was asked...I answered the 3 question survey and then was asked to leave a brief message about why I was calling and what product. I simply said that I was very sad that they discontinued it and hung up.
Today I have received a phone call from someone else at the company and she too aplogized for not having something similiar that they make to offer as a replacement and then commented on my hesitancy about leaving contact info and launched into the whole family run/owned company.
She went on to explain that she'd like to mail me a voucher for a FREE bottle of Windex product as compensation for not having what I was looking for.
WOWZAS!!! I really never thought they'd call, let alone call and offer me a free product anyhow. Needless to say I gave her my contact info for work LOL This totally made my day! Just thought I'd share

You changed your name but I'd know you anywhere!
So nice when a company goes the extra mile like that. Thanks for sharing & enjoy your free product.
