Thumbs down My yard sale sucked

    Apparently my signs blew away!

i wondered why very few people showed up.

The kids are game to try it again next week, so we just piled everything on our front porch. We might as well give it one more shot before the stuff goes to the goodwill.

We still made $50 that we did not have before, so that is the bright side.

Sorry about your signs... try again in the morning.

Some of the best yard sales I have been to have had no signs at all
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

~Sorry it was a bummer but $50 isn't *too* bad. Definitely try it again. Last year I had a sale at my house and made around $50 then I hauled the leftovers to my mom's house and had a sale there and made $80. I didn't put up signs or place ads for either sale. Since everything I was selling was something we acquired used or free to begin with I was pretty happy. Lots of luck on your next sale!~

You can always try boxes. I paint the info on the 2 big sides and just drop them out and then I go pick them up when done.

I hope you have better sales next weekend.

Also, kudos for looking at the bright side that $50 IS INDEED $50!

My yard sale wasn't that great either!! We still have a lot of stuff still left, but we are just picking through most of it and I am going to try to resell it at a thrift shop or another garage sale!! The rest is all going to goodwill. We didn't do too bad, I made about $180.00, so that's not too bad. I just wished that we would have gotten rid of more stuff!!

I think $50 isn't too bad considering your signs blew away. I would give it one more shot too and then take it away to Goodwill. Good luck on the next sale!!
