Coincidence???

Okay, does this kind of stuff happen to you, because it happens to me all the time.

So, on Tuesday, I was showing my class the movie "First Night." (Excellent movie...Richard Gere, Sean Connery, Julia Ormond...about King Arthur, Sir Lancelot, and Lady Guinevere) Anyway, as I put the movie in, there was a preview for the movie "The Net" with Sandra Bullock (both movies are older). I said to my class, "Have you seen The Net? It's a great movie." None of them had, and I said, "Well, I guess they don't really ever show it on tv or anything."

So, just now, I lay down on my bed and switch on the tv and guess what movie they are showing...??? The Net.

This kinda stuff happens to me all the time. It's not like a big deal or anything, but these weird little coincidences pop up a few times a week in my life. You?

Yeah, I hear what you are saying. The other day DH and I were ranting about my younger brother not acknowleding his BD wishes we sent and in the middle of our conversation the phone rings and it is said brother!

I can't think of an example right now. but I know exactly what you mean. It's so funny when that stuff happens. Like something you haven't thought of in years pops in your head, and there it is again, 3 times in one week!

Yes, the same thing happens to me! It's like I just 'wish' the movie to come on TV, LOL.

Yes, it happens all the time.
Also, sometimes when I learn something new I haven´t heard/seen before, I start hearing/seeing this same thing everywhere. Like, if I see a movie and there is an actor I haven´t seen before, then I start seeing him everywhere all the time, like suddenly he is in every movie or tv-series.

lol, with me one time i dreamt that my friend (ex friend now) was over at my mom's place (when i was still living with her) and sitting in the lap of some guy and i was on the phone with her friend (who was trying to get with me), then a week or 2 later it happened in real life and the person that she was sitting on was another one of our friends (who i lost contact with). first knight is a good movie and the book (based on the movie) is good also. i havent seen the movie for a few yrs now and the net about 10 yrs now.

I have things like this happen to me, also. Sometimes, I will think about a person and then pretty soon I will see or hear from them, when it's been a long time since I last saw them. And, like karone, sometimes I feel like I'm dreaming. It's like watching a scene from a movie, like deja vu, something going on around me and I just know I've been here and done this exact thing before and I really haven't. So, I think maybe I dreamed of it happenin... know what I mean.

My DD#2 has this kind of stuff heppen all of the time... and she'll scream ..yikes..this is freaking me out!! I just laugh at her and tell her she has the "powers." LOL

~Happens to me too. Guess wishing really does make it so! It took years to convince dh of my intuitiveness. He used to just look at me like I was nuts. Now he's intrigued by all the coincidences that pop up. Things that come in the mail the day after I talk about something, people who call or email after I talk or dream about them. Off-the-wall conversation topics that I bring up for no reason one day(like old-fashioned big wheel bicycles)are often repeated in general conversation initiated by someone else the next day. It's really weird.~

For me, it's words. I will hear a word I've NEVER heard in all of my 50+ years,and wonder what it means.....look it up in online dictionary........say it and it's meaning over a couple of times and think, Huh, funny I've never heard that.....

Sometimes a day, or a few days later, I will hear that word AGAIN, and have a WOW moment while I marvel at how that particular word (I didn't know before) popped up suddenly in a few days.

Yes, it happens to me all too. Just the other day I mentioned a phrase from the song Night Moves by Bob Seger in a thread. Hubby gets home after work that day, goes to the puter to check his mail etc, turns on some music on the computer and there is the song, saying that line right off the bat.
