Just saw on CNN George Carlin passed away Sunday.

Much sadness. I always loved "Rice Krispies" growing up.
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

He was a fantastic comedian. Loved his attitude and and how his comedy stemmed from his political views, too.

I had not heard this yet........always sad to hear that someone has passed away.
He was a bit "edgy" for me, however.

A lot of people just didn't 'get' George Carlin... some thought he was too controversial... to which he'd probably say 'GOOD'.
I opened my browser today and on my homepage was the words "George Carlin dies'. I sat there for a moment, it didn't click. Finally I said (rather loudly) "No Freakin' Way".
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

I really loved his early comedy (60s & 70s) ~ I am sitting here chuckling thinking about it. He'll be missed.

When I was in high school, and before I became a Christian, LOL, a friend of mine gave me his "dirty words" tape. I laughed so hard. In interviews and stuff it seemed like he was a sweet, sweet man. Although I don't listen to or watch his comedy any more, I was really sad to hear he'd passed.

I heard this on the news briefs on the radio this morning on my way to work. And then Robert D Raford was talking about him on John Boy and Billy this morning.

I was really sad to see this too. I really loved him as Mr. Conductor.
