Real Estate Rant - UPDATE
I just spoke with the broker (he called me), he wanted to let me know that there was a glitch in the MLS program and some houses got bumped out of the system (he claims it was a courtesty call to let me know in case I saw that our house was gone...I think one of you guys called him!)

He's also on his way over to put fliers in teh box and change out the name on the sign......I guess he was reading my mind.
DH gets home later tonight. We'll talk and weigh all of our options.
Thanks everyone for letting me rant about this so much! You guys are pretty cool!

Well, glitches do happen. I might give him the benefit of the doubt -- for a short time. If that really is the true story, he's probably very embarrassed about it, and maybe upset too. I doubt that real estate agents are having an easy time of it in this economy either. But if you want to take it off the market to rent, that's something else.

So does this guy seem to be an improvement over the last person? I've got my fingers crossed for you!

Ive been following your saga, and I am glad you no longer have the same real estate agent! Hopefully it truly was just a glitch and things will be back online soon.
My Mom buried a St Christopher medallion when she was trying to sell the house when we were young ('92) but it was a recession in our area and it never sold. However...I have heard that it has "worked" for some folks, (and no, we were not Catholic).

St. Christopher is the patron saint of travellers. Not sure he would work for home sales.
