Bossy-Boots is home, great date, all's well in the world!
First my immense gratitude for all the prayers and good wishes for Miss Bossy-Boots. She came through her surgery with flying colors! Luckily no pus spilled into the body cavity during the removal (which was a big concern with the infection) and she's doing fine. The vet used dissolving stitches and gave her a post-operative pain shot. She's home and soaking up all the love and attention. Thank you again for all the support.
Momma adored the sitter who came last night, and DH and I had a great time at the Comedy Club. (I had spoken to the vet before the show, so I was able to relax and enjoy) We saw Greg Morton and he was absolutely hilarious!
With luck, DH will take a personal day on 7/16 and we'll go back to the Comedy Club to see Julie Scoggins. We are so glad that Momma liked the sitter, now we know who to request! Having a date-night was such a relief after all this time. Except for concern over our kitty, we were like two teenagers.
